Original Blog Post Below

Roger is a 2-year, 1-month-old, 55-lb brown brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier currently at Riverside County Animal Control - Coachella Shelter. This handsome male has been waiting since June 12, 2025, and is struggling in the shelter environment.

Roger’s Story

Roger’s owner has not claimed him, and as an at-risk animal, he’s facing a critical deadline of 7/24 at 3 PM. He’s not doing well in the shelter and needs a compassionate home to thrive.

Roger’s Personality

Roger is a brave soul looking for a second chance:

  • Loyal Companion: With his striking coat, he’s ready to bond with the right person.

  • Independent Spirit: Unable to co-house with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet.

The Perfect Home for Roger

Roger needs a calm, single-pet home where he can settle in and feel secure. Contact the shelter for more details on his needs and compatibility.
